Educational Resources Linked Data Infrastructure
The project hub seeks to create internationally recognised standards for classifying, rating quality and searchability of the ever-expanding digital educational resources using semantic content and meta-data with reliance on new or existing ontologies.
Initially following ontologies are taken as references for adoption or modification:
- RDF (Resource Description Framework)
- SKOS (Simple Knowledge Organization System)
- OAI-ORE (Vocabulary for Resource Aggregation)
- SIOC (Semantically-Interlinked Online Communities)
- DCTerms (Dublin Core Metadata)
